Does all it says it will; accurate as advertised

The app works just fine. The accuracy is what one would expect from GPS, not perfect, but a good approximation. The ads sit unobtrusively at the bottom of the page. The display of barometric pressure and boiling point of water are useful additions, with the caveat that pressure varies with the weather as well as with elevation.

Great app. Not perfect of course. Great on our trip through Yellowstone and Sun Valley.

I downloaded and used the app on a trip from Reno to Tahoe, to show international guests the elevation change. It was easy to switch between metric and imperial.

Works well but I have one request: keep updating the barometer even if the devices location cant be found

The app is not using the sensor on iPhone 6+ with IOS 9. I is only using GPS data like it does on the iPad. I dont know if it ever worked because I downloaded it after installing 9.0. Other then that it is a nice, clean app.

Downloaded this on a whim as we were traveling through Colorado on vacation. Works well.

This simply works very well.

So much fun having this app while we were visiting Rocky Mountain National Park! At the peak it was off by 40 feet. Pretty good at 12078 feet.

I cant use this app because the elevation figure never continually adjusts - and I mean more than 10 feet in either direction while I am sitting still. Cant figure out why others dont comment on this annoying problem.

Inaccurate against an actual altimeter by several hundred feet.

Has come in quite handy on jobs and in general. BRAVO!!

Although there is no way of really knowing, it seems accurate and I dig it! I use this when I come to the mountains and need to decide if I am being a total wimp or if the altitude really is as high as it feels. It helps me decide how much water I need to drink to stay hydrated.

Great accuracy for cell phone tower triangulation.

App works well and, as far as I can tell, is quite accurate.

While I have only used on trails in the Blue Ridge Mountains, I have found this app very useful.

USE THIS APP IN OUR TRAVELS HANDY TO HAVE

Works great on my Apple Watch and phone. It rapidly changes with my ascent and descent while traveling at interstate speeds. More accurate than other wrist devices.

Works simply and without extensive setup. Highly recommended.

Interesting App. In 8 tries I never got the same reading repeated. They varied from 256.38 ft. above sea level to 331.25 ft.
